On Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 8:00 PM, this year’s guest performance will take place at Volkshaus Jena as part of the 32nd Bayreuth Easter Festival. Under the title “Festival Brass – Airs and Atmospheres,” the Festival Brass ensemble of the Bayreuth Easter Festival will present a diverse program featuring works by Bach, Mendelssohn, Lully, and Mozart.
The goal of the evening is not only musical enjoyment but also social commitment: Proceeds from the concert and additional donations will support children who are suffering from cancer or severe illnesses.
The International Young Orchestra Academy, founded by Prof. Dr. Ulrich S. Schubert, combines the promotion of young musicians with cultural diversity and social engagement through this project.
