Macroalgal-Bacteria Interactions: Trace metal recruitment and metal homeostasis in the chemosphere of the green tide forming macroalga Ulva (Chlorophyta)

The main objectives of the project are to elucidate cross-kingdom interactions between the marine green macroalgae Ulva mutabilis and its associated bacteria (Tripartite Community) on the profile of the siderophores and copperphores production, the uptake and detoxification of these metals in the Ulva's Ligandosphere.
