The Faculty Council is the most important decision-making body of the faculty. Its tasks include advising and, if necessary, deciding on the use of the faculty's resources, such as funds, materials, personnel, etc.
It also decides on fundamental questions of research and teaching within the faculty. This includes, among other things, proposals to the Executive Board for the introduction, amendment and cancellation of study programmes, including subjects, as well as the enactment and amendment of examination and study regulations.
Members of the Faculty Council are elected professors, representatives of the academic mid-level staff, representatives of the technical and administrative staff as well as representatives of the student body.
