We are glad to welcome you as a new student in our faculty! To make it easier for you to start your studies, we have compiled some information for you.

Student introduction days

The study introduction days (STET) take place in the week before the beginning of the lecture. For the winter semester 2019/20 it is from 01.-11. October 2019.

You can count on

  • subject-specific introductory events
  • supervision by student mentors
  • a lot of useful information about the different facilities of the university and the Studierendenwerk
  • and your future fellow students.

Participation in STET is strongly recommended!

The STET include

Preliminary courses

For some study programmes we offer preliminary courses for mathematics and chemistry. Here you can refresh your school supplies, prepare yourself for your studies - and, of course, make initial contacts. As a rule, the preliminary courses are optional, but are recommended.
