Herzlich Willkommen
The chair is extensively involved in the teaching in the degree programs of geosciences, biogeosciences and environmental and georesource management.
We investigate fundamental environmental processes, in particular the interrelationships, interactions, and feedbacks between the lithosphere, pedosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere. This focus reflects the central importance of geoscientific research for future societal challenges and tasks, especially regarding the limited availability of georesources, the responsibility for sustainable development, global change, and the early detection of geohazards.
