Faculty of Chemistry and Earth Sciences


The Faculty of Chemistry and Earth Sciences forms the roof for the three disciplines of chemistry, geography and geosciences. Our professors and our employees work on numerous collaborative and individual research projects with many local, national and international cooperation partners. More than 1,800 students are currently enrolled (winter term 2018/19) in one of the 18 degree programmes at the Faculty. The study programmes at the Faculty of Chemistry and Earth Sciences are characterized by a family atmosphere and numerous practical courses such as laboratory and field trainings.
