Dear Friends of Spin State Switching,  

Some additional information regarding our meeting next week:  

The purpose of the talks on the different projects is to support networking and the interaction between the different projects of the SPP. As the projects have just started, the aim is to present the general project ideas and the work plan, and to highlight the methods/expertise available in the different projects that may be of interest to other groups. This is the first time that we can all learn more about the other projects because I think during the last meeting everyone was focused on the external reviewers and the hope to get funded. Please prepare one presentation per project (not per PI). If you do not need the full time for the talk, we have more time for questions and the exchange of ideas, which is probably the most important aspect of the meeting.

During the general assembly, we need to elect a steering committee (I would propose the writing team of the main proposal as a starting point), including a PhD representative. It would be great if you could discuss who would be interested in doing the job (preferably not from my group). It will not require much work, probably just two meetings per year, one online and one in person, during our annual assemblies, to discuss the program of the meetings, external speakers, and the program of the PhD workshops.
