Stages of thin section preparation
The basic equipment consists of
- various saws (e.g. universal abrasive sawing machine, diamond wire saw machine)
- two lapping and polishing machines
- centrifuge, ultrasonic devices, hot cabinets
The equipments allows for the production of thin and polished sections in standard sizes and also the preparation of special sections and formats.
