Image: Georg PohnertThe group is equipped with state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation in Mass Spectrometry and NMR to undertake metabolomics research. Among others, the group operates an Orbitrap LC/MS, an Orbitrap GC/MS and other MS-based methods including GC and LC triplequad MS.

Image: Georg PohnertFurther we have fully equipped labs to carry out chemical, ecological, biochemical and genetic experiments. Advanced microscopy, flow cytometry and a computer cluster for metabolomics data processing are available.
Culture Chambers for small to large scale cultivation of marine organisms are in operation.
