The Faculty Council is the faculty’s most important decision-making body. Its responsibilities include advising on, and where necessary deciding on, the allocation of the faculty’s resources, such as financial and material resources, staff, etc.
In particular, it also decides on fundamental issues relating to research and teaching within the faculty. This includes, amongst other things, submitting proposals to the Executive Board for the introduction, amendment and discontinuation of degree programmes, including subjects, as well as the adoption and amendment of examination and study regulations.
Members of the Faculty Council include all elected professors, representatives of the academic mid-level staff, representatives from technical and administrative departments, and elected student representatives.

Upcoming dates
Faculty council meetings take place in Lecture Theatre IAAC (Humboldtstr. 8). They begin at 2.00 pm. Any changes will be announced in good time.
