Over the past 25 years, I have gained experience in project management including contract design in the national and international environment and have been able to establish a large number of contacts with funding organizations and project partners.

Since April 2026, I have been the research project manager for the five-year research project AI Generalizability in Non-stationary Environmental Regimes: The Case of Hydro-climatic Extremes (GENAI-X), funded by the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung. My responsibilities include organizing workshops and symposia, financial management, financial reporting, science communication, and outreach activities.

In addition, since 2021, I have been coordinating FSU’s activities within the “Sustainable Cities and Communities” work package as part of the European Campus of City-Universities (EC2U) alliance.

Furthermore, I am involved in the preparation, application, and implementation of externally funded projects within national and international funding programs. Part of these responsibilities includes independently presenting projects at national and international events (conferences, trade shows, public relations activities).
