Mohamed Bourriz

As a PhD candidate in the GIScience Group, my research focuses on spatial modeling of desert pavement distribution and characteristics at a regional scale in the Namibian Desert. This work integrates geomorphometric and remote sensing data, with the resulting outputs serving as critical inputs for atmospheric dust cycle models. The project is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
