Within the Enercap (European Network to Empower Research on CAPacitors)-project, Urooj Fatima visited the technical university of Poznan. Over the course of three months, she worked together with Dr. Krzysztof Fic in the pursuit of developing high-performing supercapacitors.
The consortium involved in the European Materials for Sustainable Sodium-Ion Capacitors (MUSIC) project met at the premises of its industrial partner E-lyte for its 7th General Assembly to discuss results and next steps.
Ferris Kühn successfully defended his Master Thesis entiteled "Sodium-Ion Batteries - Industrial Electrode Integration and Electrolytes".
Lulu Alfes successfully defended her Master Thesis entiteled: "Glyoxylic-acetal based electrolytes for negative alloy electrodes in lithium-ion batteries".
Fritzi Stephan has successfully defended her master's thesis entitled “Recovery of Lithium-Ion Battery Electrolytes through a Water-Based Recycling Approach.”
Tom Kremer has successfully defended his master thesis entitled "Novel Electrolytes for Potassium-ion Based Energy Storage Devices".
Juan Luis Gomez-Urbano was a guest at several Indian institutes as part of the "Paired Early Career Fellowship in Applied Research (PECFAR)" . Together with Dr Binson Babu, he is researching the development of anode-free hybrid-ion capacitors.
Urooj Fatima received a poster prize at the ISE conference in Mainz. She presented her work on new electrolytes for potassium-ion capacitors at the High Power Symposium.
Several members of AG Balducci were at the 76th edition of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) conference in Mainz. Many presentations were given, posters presented, discussions held and connections made.
