Professorship for Electrochemistry

Prof. Balducci's research group focuses on the synthesis and characterization of electrolytes and active/inactive materials that are of interest for electrochemical energy storage. These include, in particular, supercapacitors and alkali metal ion accumulators. In addition to classic liquid electrolytes made from conductive salts, solvents, and additives, ionic liquids and electrolyte recycling are also on the research agenda.

  1. EXTREME Project Meeting in Leipzig

The Extreme project consortium gathered at the industrial partner Skeleton in Leipzig to discuss recent progress toward the development of high-performance supercapacitors.
