The 5th World Leisure Expo and Forum was hosted by the World Leisure Organization (WLO) and the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government. Established in 1952, the WLO is a worldwide association, non-governmental and non-profit organization, that promotes leisure as an integral part of social, cultural, economic, and sustainable development. The UNESCO Chair holder was invited as the Founder and Executive Director of the International Year of Global Understanding and Chair of the IGU Research Group 'Global Understanding'.
