We develop new ways to produce green hydrogen directly from sunlight and water. To this end, we investigate fundamental mechanisms for water splitting, develop new photocatalysts and model processes for the production of green hydrogen.

We are part of Center for Energy and Environmental Chemistry Jena (CEEC Jena) de as well as Jena Center for Soft Matter (JCSM)
