HIPOLE Jena, together with the Jena Center for Soft Matter (JCSM) and the Center for Energy and Environmental Chemistry (CEEC) at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, was delighted to welcome Thuringian Minister for Education, Science and Culture Christian Tischner and State Secretary Dr. Bernd Uwe Althaus as part of the HIGH-TECH-TOUR Thüringen.

During the visit, our water splitting group had the opportunity to present our latest research on green hydrogen, showcasing innovative approaches to sustainable energy generation. Alongside Prof. Dr. Andreas Marx, President of FSU Jena, and Prof. Dr. Bernd Rech, Scientific Director at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB), we also highlighted the development of polymer-based energy applications that have positioned Jena as a leader in polymer research.

It was inspiring to engage with so many dedicated scientists, students, and leaders. We extend our thanks to all participants, including representatives from FSU Jena, the City of Jena, and our cooperation partners, for making this visit an energizing experience.
