Exchange of teaching experiences

Between 18 and 23 September 2019, Benno Werlen participated in the workshop Sharing Teaching Experience: Teachers & NGOs in Global Citizenship Education at the National Chiao Tung University, Center for Global Citizenship Education in Hsinchu (Taiwan) by invitation and gave two presentations. The opening lecture on "Global Understanding and Global Citizenship" highlighted the program of the planned "Science Decade for Global Understanding" (SDGU), and the second lecture explained its theoretical foundations. The international workshop, organized jointly with the Paulo Freire Institute at UCLA, was attended by scientists and teachers from 14 countries.
