Election to the presidium of the Regional Association of the DGVN
On 25 May 2019, Prof. Benno Werlen, holder of the UNESCO Chair on Global Understanding for Sustainability, was elected to the Presidium of the Regional Association for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia of the United Nations Association of Germany (DGVN). The DGVN Regional Association is an association that works to raise regional awareness of the institutions, working methods, and basic principles of the United Nations. To this end, it organizes lectures, lecture series, study tours, school projects, and film evenings on the theme of the United Nations. The term of office runs from 2019 to 2023.
