Graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Chemistry and Earth Sciences 2017 - View into the auditorium
Every year in November, the Faculty of Chemistry and Earth Sciences organizes a graduation ceremony in the auditorium of the Friedrich Schiller University: At this ceremony, all graduates receive the Grade Certificates of their Bachelor's and Master's degrees as well as their doctoral and habilitation certificates. With this ceremony at a traditional site, the Faculty would like to honour the achievements of our students and graduates. Parents and family members are also welcome.
During the graduation ceremony, outstanding Master's and doctoral graduates receive their awards:
- In chemistry: one Doctoral and one Graduate Award
- In geosciences: one award for the best doctoral thesis or master's thesis
- In geography: one Doctoral or Graduate Award
- In addition, the winners of the University's Graduate and Doctoral Awards for the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences will be honoured.
