Are you interested in the natural sciences, especially Chemistry, Geography or Geosciences? Then you've come to the right place :-)
Not only students can quench their thirst for knowledge at the Faculty of Chemistry and Earth Sciences. We also offer a range of interesting events for school pupils - from primary school age right through to sixth form and for both groups and individuals.
We also offer prospective students help and advice on choosing a degree programme and career path if they are still unsure about which subject they would like to study.
Interdisciplinary tenders
The University of Jena also offers further interdisciplinary information and tenders for prospective students, for example orientation workshops and Studi Talks.
Teachers are also welcome to visit us - not only with their school classes, but also for personal development.
Public Saturday Lectures "ChemGeo aktuell"
Our public Saturday lectures de are ideal for finding out about current topics or specific research work in the (subject) area|field of Chemistry, Geography and Geosciences.
Further training for teachers
The Research Group for Chemistry Education organises regular training courses for teachers as part of the Leipzig-Jena Teacher Training Centre de. The courses are recognised|to credit by the Thuringian Ministry of Education, participation is free of charge.
