A Week of Science and Collaboration with Frances Houle

From September 8–11, 2025, Frances Houle visited the Water Splitting Group, engaging in presentations, lab tours, and scientific discussions with the team. Her visit provided a highly productive and inspiring week of scientific exchange and collaboration.

From September 8–11, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Frances Houle to the Water Splitting Group. During her visit, Frances spent the week engaging with our team through presentations of the group’s ongoing research, lab tours, and various scientific discussions.

On Wednesday, Frances gave an inspiring talk on “Mechanism Discovery and System Design for (Photo)Electrocatalysis”, sharing her expertise and insights with the group. Additionally, she collaborated closely with Jacob, working on our kinetic model and providing valuable input to advance our research.

It was a productive and inspiring week, fostering scientific exchange and strengthening collaborations within the field of water splitting and our research.
