From September 22–26, 2025, the CataLight Summer School brought together students, alumni, and researchers in Eisenach for an intensive week dedicated to light-driven catalysis and collaboration. Among the participants were Kristína Rabatinová and Alexander Eith from the Water Splitting Group, who joined fellow CataLightees in exploring new ideas and strengthening scientific connections.
Highlights included engaging student tandem talks, an inspiring lecture by Prof. Gerald Meyer from the Center for Hybrid Approaches in Solar Energy to Liquid Fuels (CHASE), and insightful career sessions with CataLight alumni.
Alongside pitch training, a hike to Wartburg Castle, and the traditional game night and pub quiz, the week reflected the vibrant CataLight spirit—connecting people, disciplines, and creativity to push the boundaries of photocatalysis.
